Install Oracle Grid 11.2.0.3 Infrastructure it is an operation that you have to do the prerequisites in the section Installing and Upgrading from Oracle documetation before continue installing the Oracle Grid infrastructure.
Then go to stage area to grid file and do the follow operation:
unzip p10404530_112030_Linux-x86-64_3of7.zip
In the grid directory, run the runInstaller and start the installation:
In the “Download Software Update” section, select “Skip software update” option and click in “Next”.
Click “Install and Configure Oracle Grid Infrasctruture for a Cluster”.
Click “Advanced Installation” and “Next” .
In “Product Languages”, click “NEXT” wether you want just English language or add another.
In “Grid Plug and Play” section, it is important you pay attention about the name of the SCAN in your system , uncheck the option “Configure GNS” and click “Next”.
In step 6, click “Add” and write the name about the second node for the “Cluster Node Information”.
Click “SSH Connectivity” and add the OS password for the user oracle.
Click “Test” , “Setup” and “Next”.
Check the IP subnets:
Choose “Oracle ASM” and click next.
In the “Create ASM Disk Group” page, click on “Change Discovery Path” and type it your Disk Discovery Path (In my case was /dev/oracleasm/disk*), choose you Disk , change the redundancy to “External” and AU_SIZE to 4MB.
In the next page click on “Use same passwords for these accounts”.
Click “Do not use Intelligent Platform Management Interface (PMI) .”
In the “Privileged Operating System Groups” check the groups and click in “Next”.
Specify the GRID_BASE and GRID_HOME location.
Create the inventory.
Perfom prequisites checks and check the summary:
Click “Install” and will start the installation.
Execute the configuration scripts.
Finish the installation:
