Using Oracle Enterprise Manager, you can 3 types of authentication schemes:
- Repository-Based Authentication: Default authentication option.
- SSO-Based Authentication:The single sign-on authentication.
- Enterprise User Security Based Authentication: Users for Oracle database in LDAP server.
Therefore, OEM has 3 types of acess:
- Super Administrator: Can do anything.
- Administrator: Can do what you define.
- Repository Owner: Database administrator for the Management Repository.
To create use in OEM it is very easy, you have to do the follow steps:
- Go to OEM Grid Control Page
- Click “Setup” ->
- Click “Administrators” ->
- Click “Create” ->
- Name (write the name for your user) = “TECHDATA” ->
- Password / Confirm Password = “xxxxxxxxxx” ->
- Password Profile = “DEFAULT”->
- E-mail Address = “ope2kg@gmail.com” (optional) ->
- Select “Super Administrator” ->
- Click “Next” ->
- Click “Finish”
